Cardiovascular Ultrasound for Cardiology and Shared Services
The GE Vivid T9 was designed for users in cardiology, echo labs, or shared-service settings who need a reliable, feature-rich ultrasound system. It combines the established imaging of the Vivid line with the rugged, everyday-ready design of the LOGIQ platform, supporting reliable performance in echocardiography as well as adjacent specialties.
Ergonomics & Mobile Cart for Everyday Clinical Use
As a cart system with FlexFit design, the Vivid T9 is, according to the manufacturer, built for easy transport between rooms. A swiveling monitor arm, a height-adjustable control panel, and the compact housing at roughly 70 kg allow the system to be used both in a fixed echo lab and mobile at the bedside.
AI-Powered Automation & Workflow
According to the manufacturer, Easy AutoEF and Easy AFI automate the determination of ejection fraction and myocardial deformation using AI detection of key heart sections, delivering results within seconds. Scan Assist Pro guides users through a standardized, guided examination workflow intended to reduce variability between different operators.
Imaging & Cardiac Quantification
GE HealthCare describes the Vivid T9 as a system with 2D, M-Mode, as well as Color, Power, PW, and CW Doppler, including Tissue Doppler Imaging (TDI). In addition, Strain Imaging and Global Longitudinal Strain (GLS) measurement enable a more differentiated assessment of left ventricular function. A digital beamformer with, according to the manufacturer, up to 974,026 effective channels and True Scan Raw Data processing are intended to further contribute to image quality.
Transducer Concept & Range of Applications
According to the manufacturer, the Vivid T9 can be used with up to 19 compatible transducers across five categories (convex, linear, sector, endocavity, and specialty), covering vascular, abdominal, and pediatric examinations in addition to cardiology. Combined with optional stress echo functionality, the system is suitable for both specialized echo labs and broader shared-service use.
Mobility & Service Coverage
An optional battery allows, according to the manufacturer, cable-free operation at the bedside, while the system ships standard with three years of warranty and service coverage.
